Beautiful Wildlife Photography

I love animal photography. I can spend hours looking through the National Geographic website, where they always have the most amazing sets of photos shot in the animal’s natural environment. Another cool website for animal lovers like me is Pluspets: they showcase wildlife photography, but also lots of pics that pet owners sent in. And who (apart from mean people) doesn’t like cute kittens or puppies? :)

Do you guys know any other good website or blog with a focus on animal photography? Let me know!

  1. Oh, and my daughter, Hallie (pronounced like Halle Berry), says the ladybug is her favorite.

I love the elephant shot, not only for the stormy sky, but also because it illuminates the other colors so vividly, don’t you think. The greens become so much more alive against a tempered sky. The other objects (elephants) are captured so beautifully, with the contrasts of the other colors.

  2. Wow! I love all of these shots. I’m a serious, crazy animal lover, and so is my daughter (she’s even crazier, if that’s possible, about animals). My fave of these shots is of the elephants walking across the field with the stormy sky in the background. I’m not sure what it is about stormy skies, but I adore them. They whisper to my soul. ;)

  3. What terrific photos; I’m rather fond of elephants! I posted a few entries with wildlife safaris. If you have a chance to watch the videos please share your thoughts. if you have any more great photos of elephants please share those, too. By the way, thanks for making my first few days here a lot nicer. I don’t know how you found me but I’m glad you did. You have a lovely blog. :)

  4. I love wildlife photography too! But then I must admit I love all kinds of photography! There’s something to capturing a shot that reminds me of freezing a perfect moment in time. :)

  5. Love the picture of the horses. The contrast of the white against the sky is beautiful. I’ve always been a sucker for animal pictures and a especially animal documentaries!

  6. If you’re interested in watching real wildlife, I suggest checking out Africam. It’s a live video feed of animals in Africa. It’s very interesting to watch!
