A manicure can involve quite a few utensils! Whenever I did my nails all the little bits and pieces would clutter up the couch, the picture above is a much nicer depiction of what it actually looks like. I recently came up with a solution: Instead of just dumping everything into one container and taking out everything I need individually, I store my nail stuff in two separate places now. I have one big MUJI tray for all my coloured nail polishes, and one smaller, portable plastic tray for all the other stuff I need for nearly every manicure. Essentials like nail polish remover, nail files, scissors, cuticle oil, base coat, top coat, Jessica drip-dry and cotton pads go in there. Now, whenever I want to paint my nails I simply pick out a colour, put it into the smaller tray and take it wherever I want to do my nails. It’s soooo much easier than what I used to do before :)

Great inspiration; I’m in dire need of re-organization of my nail polishes, and pretty much all of my makeup. And we all feel so much better when it’s all neat and tidy, eh? :)

My coffee table looks almost exactly like that, but I think mine is worse! I have a cute little bag that I keep all of my essentials in, but I change polish so often that it stays on the coffee table!

That’s exactly what I do! I have a small zipper bag that has my base coat, top coat, cuticle oil, cuticle removers, that thing you use to push back your cuticles, nail clippers, nail files, etc… and I have a HUGE container filled with probably 300 nail polishes. Some of them are extremely old (like 8 years or so) but they still work! haha
I blush to say it, but I’ve allocated an entire ikea dinner tray to my spread, with a plastic 24 egg crate holding the colors (tilted for dipping, but also they can’t fall over/roll around),and a smaller box for regular supplies. I carry the whole thing around and sometimes use all the colors because I can’t pick just one. :) Fun post!
