I love simple long sleeve body con dresses, especially these from American Apparel. The quality is amazing and they also have the best colour range. I like the wide neckline and back opening, although the shoulders tend to fall down. I wear these kinds of dresses during the day, but without tights and with high boots they are definitely party-appropriate.
I used some leftover leather string as a hair tie.

They snap over your bra strap and keep the top up :)

Looks great on you, the shoulders on those dresses turn me off though. I have little shoulders, so the shoulders never stay up.. if only it was the 80′s and I could put some shoulder pads in.

I love the body con dresses also. Unfortunately due to some weight gain, I don’t quite have the shape I once did to be able to wear these awesomely cute little dresses. Sigh. The problems we have in life!
